Jose Luis Pelaez is a Cooper Union graduate who apprenticed with several top photographers in various fields before starting his own business shooting for advertising agencies and design firms. He began to shoot exclusively for stock after experiencing its creative diversity and freedom. Hard work and talent have made him one of the most recognized photographers in the field. Pelaez Productions is a self-contained production studio dedicated to stock photography. We have 10,000 square feet of shooting space with multiple studios and sets. This gives us great flexibility, allowing us to maximize our productivity. Studio sets include: a pharmacy, hospital, boardroom, store, kitchen, and various living quarters. The creative team consists of three photographers, a producer, art director, stylist, and make-up artists. We also have a fully equipped digital retouching department, which is staffed by highly experienced technicians.
